SELF-ADVOCACY Committee

Self-advocacy is a cornerstone element of the Community Interactions mission. Self-advocates, individuals who receive services from our organization, meet once a month to develop good leadership skills and explore new opportunities through self-directed services. During Self-Advocacy Committee meetings, individuals also participate in the policy and decision-making process for Community Interactions, which assists us in better serving them.

The Self-Advocacy Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm at the Swarthmore office.

Quality Enhancement Group

The Quality Enhancement Group meeting provides leadership and personal development training, as well as recreational opportunities, to people with disabilities—whether or not they’re supported by Community Interactions programs and services.

This group welcomes attendees from the general community for a small fee, if the participating individual is not supported through a Community Interactions residential or day service. Please contact us at (610) 328-9008 for more information on Quality Enhancement Group meetings.

Quality Enhancement Group meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Swarthmore office.
