Self-Advocacy
Group Meetings
Self Advocacy Committee
Self-Advocacy is a cornerstone element of the Community Interactions mission. Self-Advocates, individuals who receive services from our organization, meet once a month to develop good leadership skills and explore new opportunities through self-directed services. During Self-Advocacy Committee meetings, individuals also participate in the policy and decision-making process for Community Interactions, which assists us in better serving them.
The Self-Advocacy Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm at the Swarthmore office.
Quality Enhancement Group
The Quality Enhancement Group meeting provides leadership and personal development training, as well as recreational opportunities, to people with disabilities – whether or not they’re supported by Community Interactions programs and services.
This group welcomes attendees from the general community for a small fee, if the participating individual is not supported through a Community Interactions residential or day service. Please contact us at (610) 328-9008 for more information on Quality Enhancement Group meetings.
Quality Enhancement Group meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Swarthmore office.
